As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, Alight Motion is primarily a mobile video editing application that allows users to create and edit videos with various effects, animations, and elements. However, Instagram Reels is a feature within the Instagram app that lets users create short-form videos with music, effects, and other creative tools directly from within Instagram.
If you’re looking to edit videos for Instagram Reels using Alight Motion, here’s a general guideline on how you might approach it:
- Create Your Video in Alight Motion:
Start by launching the Alight Motion app and creating the video content you want to use for your Instagram Reels. You can add effects, animations, text, stickers, and more to make your video engaging and visually appealing.
- Export Your Video:
Once you’re satisfied with your video editing in Alight Motion, export the video to your device’s camera roll or gallery. Ensure that the video meets the requirements of Instagram Reels in terms of length, aspect ratio, and resolution.
- Open Instagram:
Launch the Instagram app on your mobile device.
- Access Reels:
- To create a new Instagram Reels video, swipe right on the main Instagram feed or tap on your profile picture to access the camera. From there, select the “Reels” option.
- Import Your Video:
In the Reels camera mode, you can import the video you edited in Alight Motion from your camera roll or gallery. You can also add music, effects, and text directly within the Instagram Reels editor.
- Edit and Enhance:
Use Instagram’s built-in editing tools to further enhance your video. You can add music, adjust the video speed, add AR effects, and more.
- Finalize and Share:
Once you’re satisfied with your Instagram Reels video, you can add a caption, hashtags, and choose whether to share it to your feed, your Reels tab, and other platforms. When everything looks good, click the “Share” button to publish your Reel.
Remember that app features and interfaces can change over time, so it’s always a good idea to check the most up-to-date resources or guides provided by the app developers. As of my last update, Instagram and Alight Motion were separate applications,
so the process might involve exporting videos between the two apps. Make sure to consider any updates or changes that might have occurred since then.
